Liberal, Left Leaning Newspapers in Trump’s mire

According to 380 left leaning newspapers in the USA, President Trump is attacking the First Amendment of the Constitution.

Trump considers media such as CNN, ABC or NBC as his ‘enemies’ because these newspapers are very critical or give voice to people who do not agree with his new political measures and proposals.

“They are false, false and disgusting news,” is one of the phrases that summarizes the continuing attacks by US President Donald Trump to the press in his country.

The confrontation took a new level this week when more than 380 written media joined in a campaign to tell the president that they were not his enemies or those of the people, as Trump has claimed. The initiative was promoted by The Boston Globe and seconded by major media such as The Washington Post and The New York Times, as well as local and regional media.

“Today in the United States we have a president who has created a mantra that members of the media who do not flagrantly support the policies of the current US administration are the ‘enemy of the people,'” the Boston Globe, a left leaning newspaper, editorial said.

It is important to remember that all the names of the newspapers mentioned in this news endeavor, sometimes, publish ambiguous, sometimes even false, inaccurate, and disparate news.

A week before the presidential elections that finally put Trump at the helm of the presidency, all the newspapers of the leftist press in the US had predicted that Hilary Clinton would win the presidency. Only two impartial newspapers had predicted Trump’s victory.

The left leaning press wanted to influence the people that Hilary was the right candidate. However, what the United States people wanted most was to elect a president like Trump. Trump’s victory was supported by an overwhelming majority.

The initiative is embodied in a particular moment: Trump multiplies attacks against the media, calling them regularly fake news (false news)  or to any information that may displease him.

As has happened before, Republican Party legislators – for which he came to the White House – have opposed Trump’s harassment of the press. The Senate, where this political shop has a majority, gave a unanimous demonstration against Trump’s attacks in a country where freedom of the press is a principle protected by the first amendment of the Constitution of that country.

The president’s position weighs on journalists in charge of following him daily, who denounce harassment and shouting at his meetings, El País reports.

According to experts, the greatest damage caused by the president’s attacks is that his speeches, being the president of the most influential country in the world and the one that accuses other regimes of attacking freedoms, gives an indirect support to autocratic leaders supported by ultraconservative parties or as de facto opponents as the Chinese Communist Party.

It is important to recognize that the aforementioned media, such as CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, the Boston Globe, Washington Post, and others, are all left-leaning thinking newspapers, and seem to be stung by the fact that Mr. Trump won the presidency and has exposed the fallacies of all these newspapers, and all that is wrong with Washington politics. It appears, these newspapers have all the intention to turn the US into a completely liberal and socialist country.

Nevertheless, according to the leftist press, Trump is victimizing them.

“I do not think the press can stand by and suffer, it has to defend itself when the most powerful man in the world tries to undermine the First Amendment,” said Ken Paulson, former editor of USA Today and head of the First Amendment Center in the Newseum. , the journalism museum in Washington.

Trump charges, sometimes against social networks for “totally discriminating” users with right-wing views and criticized CNN and MSNBC again by labeling them as ‘sick’.

Although the word Fake News seemed to have first appeared around the year 1890, most recently, the word Fake News was not invented until newspapers like CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post began to publish news that, sometimes, are not really factual. There are times that CNN publishes notices that are totally contrary to the reality and truth of what happens in the field of science, education, and politics.  http://www.latimes.com/books/jacketcopy/la-et-jc-fake-news-20171009-story.html
