According to reliable information, there was one person killed and one injured, on the afternoon of this Wednesday, August 15 due to a traffic accident, on the state highway E15 north of Esmeraldas near Rioverde.
The accident occurred in the Achilube sector, near a hostel. According to the information obtained, a motorcycle and a truck who was in the process of delivering drinks were the causal result of this accident and mishap.
Someone alerted the 911 ECU about the accident. It was reported that police arrived at the site and they found a corpse lying on the road and another seriously injured person.
The injured person was immediately transferred in an ambulance to the hospital in South Delfina Torres, to receive prompt medical attention.
