Dinosaurs are often depicted as ancient and prehistoric, and as if they had lived in a time before man came to Earth.
However, the evidence available throughout the world shows that man and the dinosaurs lived at the same time or they coexisted.
For example:
Dragon legends are among the most people of many groups and people throughout the world.
For example, there are the stories of Bel and the dragon, the Kulta of the Australian aborigines, St. George and the dragon, and of course many Chinese legends. And who among us has not seen a representation of a Chinese dragon?
Often, anatomical descriptions of dinosaurs are very consistent, although they come from different continents.
These representations coincide with the fossil evidence of certain dinosaurs. Thus, the dinosaurs have been discovered and are known directly by their fossils found in the earth.
In addition, the evidence of them is indirectly seen when we recover from various caves detailed drawings, tapestries, weavings, figurines, sculptures, reliefs, and many oral testimonies and writings very ancient sometimes.
What happened to the dinosaurs?
The Bible says that “everything that walks on the earth was created according to its kind.”
Everything was created by God on the sixth day of the week of creation (Genesis 1:25) including the dinosaurs. On this same day, the first man and woman were also created (Genesis 1: 26-27).
Then, more than 1,600 years later, in Genesis 8:15 it is recorded that a pair of each of the animals that inhabit the earth in which is the “breath of life” -including the dinosaurs were taken aboard an ark that would have measured more than 101,000 feet, or approximately 10,000 ten thousand square meters of space.
This allowed that a quantity of animals will be conserved in all the world after the destruction of the Universal Flood after which many fossilized dinosaurs were left.
What else does the Bible say about dinosaurs?
The book of Job refers to a creature called behemoth. It had a large size and a tail like a cedar tree. This description matches that of the dinosaurs called sauropods.
God told Job, with the suggested words “Behold now, behemoth, which I made with you” (Job 40:15).
Additionally, Job 41:1 and 19- 21 says ”
Can you draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which you let down?
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
Obviously, Job is not speaking of an alligator or a small animal.
Thus, this statement states that both behemoth and man were made the same day. Ezekiel, James and Paul refer to the book of Job, authentically authenticating their historical testimony.
Fresh dinosaur tissues have been unearthed with fresh flesh and blood cells still visible
It has been discovered that soft tissues of dinosaur femurs have been found to have been described as “still soft” and contain recognizable blood cells.
All this confirms the recent character of dinosaur fossils.
Science continues to show that dinosaurs are not prehistoric or antecedent to humans, and that many dinosaurs did not become extinct until after the floods of the Flood, which occurred only about 4 thousand years ago.
